THREE BIG DAYS!

WOW!   That's all we can say about the very first Twi/Tour Convention and the launch of Creation Entertainments's Twi/Tour that took place on February 20-22, 2009. A giant sold out crowd (thanks to all!) came ready to have the time of their lives and boy, did they! The atmosphere was electric as fans from around the world were on hand to celebrate the amazing success of Twilight and to cheer on their favorite stars!

All of the guests from the film were sensational in person, on-stage, answering audience questions, autographing, partying with fans and doing photo ops. Our special thanks to Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene, Jackson Rathbone, Peter Facinelli, Billy Burke, Michael Welch, Christian Serratos, and Rachelle Lefevre for making the weekend so incredibly memorable.

A special shout-out to Jackson and 100Monkeys for rocking the house like Elvis on Saturday night, and our appreciation also to our other musical performers The Bella Cullen Project (awesome job ladies!), Goodnight Juliet, and the fantastic Michael Welch who also danced with the Vampire Court winners, an experience they won't soon forget! Thanks also to the super-talented Hillywood Show cast for hosting the weekend and being such a major part of its success. And, of course, we couldn't have done it all without the support of the generous Twilight fan community including panel participants from TwilightMoms, Twilghters.org, and Twilight20Somethings.

Just wanted to say thank you for a great weekend in San Francisco.  My husband and I had a wonderful time, and look forward to next year's event.  This was our very first convention, and after the great experience, I know it will not be our last.  We are already counting down to February of 2010!

Which brings me to my humble request for that convention.  I know that you invite all the cast members of Twilight, but I am begging you to please bring back Peter Facinelli.  He was such a great and entertaining guest, and I would love for him to be back in San Francisco in 2010.  I am also hoping that he will be part of the lunch/dinner ebay auction because I will be saving my pennies to go to that.  I am not missing out on that kind of an opportunity again!  :-) Thank you again, and see you February of 2010!

I just wanted to extend a HUGE thank you to you and your staff for the AMAZING Twilight convention this weekend in San Francisco. It was my first convention, I am still exhausted, but I had a wonderful time. I would also like to say great job to three of "your" people- Val was awesome beyond words. She was so on top of things and always had a great upbeat attitude. Dave, one of the security guys, was phenomenal as well. And to Chris, the photographer who contracts in. He was great as well. Really words cannot express how much fun my friends and I have had this past weekend.

First of all I have to say that my daughter and I had never been to a convention or any event of this nature. That being said, we had a blast. We still can't get over how much fun we had.  The Q & A sessions were fun and the guests were so easy going and seemed to really be happy to be there. The autograph sessions were orderly and timely. The photo sessions were quick (even with the long lines) and the photos were high quality. The welcome night was a perfect way to kick off the night and the concert with 100 Monkeys was crazy fun. The ball was a change of pace from the weekend since it was a little slowed down. It was the perfect way to end the busy day. Also having the guests come stop by each table gave us the oppportunity to feel special.

ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not (we always try to book replacements) and therefore we can not issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Of course we will always refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.

PHOTO TAKING POLICY AT THIS CONVENTION
We know that taking photos makes the convention even more fun and we thought it would be a good idea to share our photo taking policies for you before you arrive at the convention so you can prepare. In the auditorium, photo taking is encouraged, but only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to the stage and block the view of others who have paid for reserved seats in front of you. Even if there are empty seats, patrons must sit in the seats they paid for to be fair to everyone. Due to fire marshall regulations everyone must be seated during performances. Please also be courteous to your neighbors when taking pictures. Photo taking is not allowed during autographing sessions nor during the photo ops. Only those people who have autograph tickets may come up to get autographs. At the various parties and food functions: photo taking is encouraged when the guests arrive (but only from your seats). After a sufficient time for all to get their photos we ask that your cameras be placed down so the celebrities can enjoy their time at these events. Thank you for understanding the need to have these few rules so everyone is safe and has fun.

The vast majority of our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Therefore it is incumbent upon those that ask questions to make them ones that allow our mutual shared time with the celebrities to be enjoyable, interesting and entertaining for all (including the guest). Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them (we all do, that's why we're here), giving gifts (you can do this at photo ops), getting into long personal stories, or worse, is not acceptable for this format and, in fact, is quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity. Join us in trying to make this convention the best entertainment for everyone!

YOUR HOSTS FOR THE CONVENTION WEEKEND! After their smashing success at our first convention (The Twi/Tour stop in San Francisco in early 2009) we are happy to welcome The Hillywood Show cast to this event! We know you'll enjoy meeting Hannah and Hilly Hindi and guests - With nearly 1,000,000 hits on their Twilight spoof video, these girls have been on the YouTube scene for three years doing hilarious spoofs of various movies. Dressed in character as Edward (Jacob Jost), Bella, Jasper (Drew Lorentz) and Alice, The Hillywood Show cast will be hosting the convention, doing skits, posing for photos and just making the weekend more fun and exciting!

FRIDAY NIGHT MUSICAL CONCERT (9PM) MUSICAL PERFORMERS TO BE ANNOUNCED

SATURDAY NIGHT VAMPIRE BALL Fans from around the globe congregate in their finest vampire wear to raise the roof! Prizes for best costume and best dancers! Here's the perfect way to meet and mingle with fellow fans and also you'll get to personally meet some of our Twilight guests. A DJ is set, and this party is fine for all ages. Our celebrity guests will be announced soon. This event is included on a complimentary basis for GOLD WEEKEND PATRONS. We have a FEW extra tickets that are available for those who are not Gold Patrons. These tickets are $99 each. VAMPIRE COURT MAKE-OVERS Three lucky ladies will be selected on Saturday morning (the last three standing winners of our trivia contest which is open to our general audience) to be members of the Vampire Court to be presented at The Vampire Ball on Saturday Night. These court members will receive a luxury make-up and hair make-over by a professional team on Saturday afternoon. And a special treat awaits them at the ball!   Dress Code? We want everyone to be comfortable and we certainly don't want to impose a dress code that would require someone to purchase apparel that they don't currently own. If possible we do want attendees to come dressed in party attire, upscale casual, or in themed costume. With celebrity guest stars, music, a cash bar, and surprises we're sure that this is going to be a party to remember! VAMPIRE BALL CENTERPIECE CONTEST Show your creativity by designing and bringing a Twilight themed Centerpiece to the Vampire Ball! A $250 gift certificate will be awarded to the very best centerpiece as decided by our judges.

SUNDAY BREAKFAST and CHARITY AUCTION A special event, not included in any packages. Guests and information to follow

SUNDAY: THE COSTUME COMPETITION Come dressed in your finest costume as any Twilight themed character or make up your own! A $250 gift certificate is awarded to the very best! Let your creative juices flow and come ready to "thrill!"

TWILIGHT TRIVIA GAMES Here's where YOU get to show off your knowledge of all things Twilight: novels and film! There's the YES/NO game where contestants are brought up from the audience to vie for hundreds of dollars in prizes, and we'll also be doing our famous "Stump The Experts" game where audience members can try to stump the Twilight geniuses and win! So let's get studying and ready to win.... please bring along trivia questions to ask too: all questions must be answered by something that appeared in the novels or in the film.

"TWILIGHT LEXICON" AT THE CONVENTION! The Twilight Lexicon (www.twilightlexicon.com), quoted by Stephenie Meyer as "the brightest star in the Twilight online universe," is one of the original Twilight fansites and we are very happy to have them as part of Twi/Tour! At this time the founders of the site are working out who will represent them at this particular convention and once that is set we'll let you know (and also list what their panel topics will be each day) , At least one of the site creators will be on hand to meet the fans and talk about everything Twilight, including their set visits to both the Twilight and New Moon filming locations. Here's info on the site founders: Lori Joffs acted as a reader for Stephenie during the development of Eclipse and Laura Byrne-Cristiano has her finger on the pulse of the most current (and verified) news. They created the Twilight Lexicon in March of 2006 and have the most in-depth knowledge of the Twilight universe.

Autograph and Photo Op Tickets do not include admission to the convention, and you must have an admission ticket or package to get autographs or photo ops.

Here's the rare chance to get an in-person hand-signed autograph by your favorite celebrity. We do autographing row by row for those that have them included in their packages followed by additional autograph tickets called by number. If autographs are part of your ticket package you can get any additional signatures you've purchased the first time you come up. You must bring an item for the celebrity to sign: you can bring something from home or purchase an officially licensed photograph or souvenir at the convention. Imagine the greatest convention souvenir of all: YOU with the celebrity of your choice in a glorious 8 by 10 professionally shot full color picture. Photo ops are available in limited supply. Photo Ops are not included in any ticket package and must be ordered separately. Photos are generally available for pick-up at the convention, if not we mail them to you (read FAQs for more info). We allow up to TWO PATRONS with the celebrity(s) in a photo op.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS
Special lower than normal room rates are now available at The Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport for those coming to the convention.

Room rates for those that mention TWILIGHT are $139 per night for singles, doubles (1 double bed in the room) or twins (2 beds in the room). To reserve your rooms call 1-800-233-1234 or 650-347-1234

Creation Entertainment holds a "block" of rooms for our attendees. These blocks of rooms have a lower rate than standard rates at the hotel, but they also have a "cut-off" point after which hotels may choose to revert back to their own higher rates for our customers. Usually this cut off date is one month prior to the event, but this does vary. Therefore it is always wise to book your rooms for our conventions as early as possible.
