Creation Entertainment's

SUPERNATURAL OFFICIAL CONVENTIONS FAQ

The Answers to your Questions!

What You Should Know & FAQ
General

Can I bring alcoholic beverages with me to the show?
• We don't allow alcoholic beverages to be brought to or consumed at any of our shows. We
also kindly ask that you do not attend the event intoxicated, and we reserve the right to
refuse entry to anyone that does.

Can I bring a bag / backpack to the nighttime concerts?
• Generally we ask that you do not bring bags to the nighttime concerts for the safety of our celebrity guests and attendees. If you have a special requirement please speak with security and they will provide you with an accommodation.
Bags during the daytime convention events just are fine.

No bag, huh? What if I need a water bottle?
• We will be providing water stations all over the show, giving you one less thing to worry
about!

What is your policy on taking pictures?
• In the auditorium photo taking is encouraged only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to
the stage and block the view of others who paid for reserved seats in front of you. Please
also be courteous to your neighbors when taking pictures. Photo taking is not allowed
during autographing sessions nor during the photo ops.
• Audio and video-recording are not allowed.

Can I take pictures with my flash turned on?
• For the comfort and safety of our celebrity guests and attendees we ask that you do not
use the flash on your cameras or phones. Not only is it the best way to give your subjects
glowing eyes, it also often decreases picture quality rather than increase it.

Are appearances set in stone?
• Unfortunately, all appearances are subject to change due to potential film and television
work for our celebrity guests, as well as unforeseen events or issues. We always do our
best to replace any guests that need to cancel, and because of this we can not issue
admission ticket, or ticket package refunds if a specific guest cancels.
• We will always refund separately purchased photo op and autograph tickets for a guest if
they cancel.

What about convention dates?
• Show dates have, on rare occasions, moved or entire shows canceled because of
extenuating circumstances. Creation Entertainment is not responsible for any nonconvention
ticket expenses or travel costs in the event of cancellations or date changes.

I'm coming in from out of town. How close to the show can I arrive / leave?
• Many of the events are subject to the celebrity guest's flight details, schedule and the
variables that come with autographing. Many autographing events run later into the
evening if a guest's appearance is later in the day. Because of this, we suggest you leave
extra time in your travel schedule to accommodate for these things.

Do celebrity guests take questions?
• Yes, the vast majority take questions during their time on stage. This can be one of the
most fun and rewarding fan experiences, and we ask you to take a few things into
consideration if you get this chance.
• Please remember that the celebrity's time is limited and they would love to answer as
many questions as possible during their time. Try and keep your question short, to the
point, and something everyone can enjoy. Remember, you're representing the fan
community at the mic!
• Telling long personal stories, asking for hugs or pictures, and telling the stars you love
them (we all do, that's why we're here) takes up another fan's time to ask a question of
their own. Just ask yourself: If someone else was doing this same thing, would I be bored?

I see an empty seat that's in a better row than mine. Can I snag it if no one is using it?
• Even if there are empty seats you must sit in the seat(s) you paid for. Reserved seating is
part of the ticket package / type that you purchased and was factored into pricing. It
wouldn't be fair to steal a seat you didn't pay for.

Can I stand in line with my child?
• Of course. At times the lines get very busy and we usually ask that non-ticket holders don't
stand in the line to prevent crowding, but we understand the needs of parents and children.

When does the show open / close?
• The show opens around 10:00 a.m. and closes around 7:00 p.m. most days. There can be
variation in the scheduled times depending on celebrity schedules and specific events.

When is registration open?
• Preregistration happens the evening before the beginning of the show, and allows package
and weekend ticket holders to register early. If you have single-day tickets, or can't make
preregistration, you can register any time during the show.
• Preregistering has a lot of benefits, though! You get first crack at the autograph and photo
op tickets that are still available, and early access to the dealer's room.

What is your policy on harassment?
• Creation does not tolerate any form of harassment or bullying at its events. We operate
under the philosophy of one of our mentors, Gene Roddenberry, who hoped that the future
would fulfill his vision of tolerance, acceptance of differences, and inclusion of all. The
company’s complete policy is stated on the schedule of events handed out at each
convention.

Is there an age limit to attend the event?

• There is no age limit to attend any of our events, though some of our celebrity guests can
use colorful language and off-color humor. Before you purchase a ticket for your child,
please be aware of this.
• If alcoholic beverages are being sold at any of the events within the show we will only
serve those 21 years of age and older, and will have soft drinks for those underage.

Can I give the celebrity guest a gift?
No, unfortunately because of security and logistical concerns we can't allow fans to give
guests gifts. Plus, many of our guests fly in from all over and it wouldn't be practical for
them to haul hundreds of gifts back. The checked bag fees along would be massive!

How can I find out when the VIP Experience auctions go live?
• Join our mailing list and look for our announcements. Visit the VIP Auctions site any time to see what's currently on sale.

I cosplay, can I charge for photos with fans at the event?
• Nope. We know our fine fans would never try and do this, but we have to say it anyway.

Tickets

I found a great deal on tickets to your event on Craigslist/Ebay/That Guy Who Sells Watches Out Of His Trench Coat, are they legitimate?
• Tickets are only sold through Creation Entertainment and are not able to be re-sold.
Unfortunately there's been a rise in fake tickets being sold to our shows in recent years
from third-party sources. Just remember that the only place you can buy tickets for our
events is directly from us!

How close to the event can I purchase tickets?
• Advanced ticket sales are generally available until a few days before the convention, and if
there are remaining tickets for the event they will be sold at the door. Many of our events
sell out in advance so we can't guarantee the availability of tickets for any given event.

When will show tickets be released?
• Ticket releases don't follow a specific schedule, so we recommend you subscribe to our
mailing list here, and follow our Facebook / Twitter pages to be kept up to date on the
newest releases.

Where's my E-ticket?
• Tickets are sent as a PDF file within 3-5 business days. Check your email's spam/junk
folder as well as any alternate inbox folders you might have if your tickets still aren't there
within that time period. If you still can't find your ticket email customer service at:
customer.service@creationent.com

Are the tickets refundable?
• No.

Are there children's prices?
• Children ages 6 and under are free (with proof of age) and anyone over that age requires a
regular admission ticket. We do not have children's prices.

Do I need a ticket to attend with my child?
• Yes, you do.

Do I need an admissions ticket to the convention to see the "Saturday Night Special" concert?
• No, you only need a concert ticket. Gold, Silver and Copper passes include admission to the concert, and pass holders keep their daytime reserved seating. Pretty great deal, right?

Ticket ordering problems/password not working?
• Try the solutions given on this page: http://www.creationent.com/ordering-problems.htm

What's this "service fee" I see as part of my ticket order?
• There is a service & handling fee of $8.50 that applies to each ticket bought online. Service
fees are charged by all ticketing agencies and we try to keep ours below the industry norm.
Ticketmaster's, for example, is far higher than ours which is one reason we handle ticketing
internally. We don't like the charges ourselves when we go to concerts or other events, but
it's an unfortunate necessity for promoters. They help to pay for the expenses of putting on
an event, particularly with the ever-increasing costs of booking celebrities, airfares, venues,
insurances, staffing, etc. The charges are always visible and labeled S&H before orders
are placed.

Do my tickets include photo ops?
• No, photo ops aren't included in any ticket packages.

Can you take tickets on my phone?
• We can take entrance tickets on a phone, but no other tickets can be taken that way. We'd
prefer if you printed all of your tickets just to avoid any issues. Better safe than sorry!

Do you have a Will Call desk?
• No, we unfortunately don't have a Will Call anymore so we will not be able to replace lost
or forgotten tickets.

Do the ticket packages include hotel stay?
•No, hotel stay is extra.

Can I pick up autograph and photo op tickets before the ticket/package I want goes on sale?
• You may purchase Photo Op and Autograph tickets before buying admissions tickets, but
you MUST HAVE a valid admissions ticket for the day of the event to redeem the
autograph or photo op.

Photo Ops

Are Photo Ops included in my package?
• No, photo ops are not included in the packages.

Do Photo Op and Autograph tickets include admission?
• No. You need an admission ticket to take advantage of any photo ops or autographs.

How many fans can we have in one photo op?
• Your photo op ticket allows up to two fans in the photo for the price of one ticket.

What if I want four fans in the photo?
• You can do that but you'll need to buy two photo op tickets. The math goes like this: Two fans x Two Tickets = Four Fans in a photo op. Four, however, is the maximum we allow in one photo op.

Can you accept my tickets on my cellphone?
• We can accept cellphone tickets for admission, but NOT autographs or photo ops. We only accept printed, physical tickets for your autographs and photo ops.

Can I ask for a hug before or after my autograph/photo op?
• We ask that you don't do this as it eats up another fan's valuable time to meet and have their experience. If you want a hug you can request a "hug shot" for your photo op and most stars are happy to oblige!

Can I sell copies of my photo op? What about make it into a sweet shirt on Etsy?
• Sorry, but photo op photos may only be used for personal, non-commercial use. That includes your Etsy store.

Can I brink my beverage with me to my photo op / autograph? I might get thirsty!
• No beverages are allowed in either situation.

Can I request a specific pose during a photo op?
• If you’d like a specific pose you can tell it to the celebrities, but please make sure you have your pose idea ready to go. Bring a picture that shows the pose if you think you may have a hard time explaining it. If you have props, please make sure they are easily held and ready to go.

Is there anything I can't do/ask for during a photo op?
• Due to time constraints there are certain things we can't allow. Here are a few examples:
Putting on clothing, blankets, ties etc., floor poses, handcuffs, rose petals, confetti or anything that creates a mess and requires cleanup, and asking to be picked up in the photo (we don't want anyone getting hurt).
• A good rule to keep in mind is: If it would bother you seeing another fan doing it, or the request would make you uncomfortable, it may not be a good idea.

Can I tell my personal stories to the guests during my autograph / photo ops?
• Unfortunately no, and this is for a few reasons. Telling long, personal stories takes up time that other fans have payed for and isn't fair to them. We all have limited time with the celebrities and they want to make as many fan's days as possible.
• Most of our celebrity guests have asked that fans post their stories to their Facebook pages. This allows them to read each and every story when they have the time to fully take them to heart. They know how much their show means to you, and everyone who attends the convention, because you wouldn't be there if it wasn't important in your life. That's the beauty of Creation events, it's only for the biggest fans!

Autographs

Can I just walk up and ask for/get an autograph?
• Only those people who have autograph tickets may come up to get autographs.

Do Photo Op and Autograph tickets include admission?
• No. You need an admission ticket to take advantage of any photo ops or autographs.

Can I take a picture during my autograph session?
• No, unfortunately we can't allow photography during autographing sessions.

Can you accept my tickets on my cellphone?
• We can accept cellphone tickets for admission, but NOT autographs or photo ops. We only
accept printed, physical tickets for your autographs and photo ops.

Can I ask for a hug before or after my autograph/photo op?
• We ask that you don't do this as it eats up another fan's valuable time to meet and have
their experience. If you want a hug you can request a "hug shot" for your photo op and
most stars are happy to oblige!

Can I brink my beverage with me to my photo op / autograph? I might get thirsty!
• No beverages are allowed in either situation.

Will there be items at the autographing session that the stars can sign for me?
• No, but there are tons of great items perfect for signing in the vendor areas all show! They
will also sign items you bring from home, within reason. Also, this isn't a rock concert so
they won't be signing body parts.

Can I tell my personal stories to the guests during my autograph / photo ops?
• Unfortunately no, and this is for a few reasons. Telling long, personal stories takes up time
that other fans have payed for and isn't fair to them. We all have limited time with the
celebrities and they want to make as many fan's days as possible.
• Most of our celebrity guests have asked that fans post their stories to their Facebook
pages. This allows them to read each and every story when they have the time to fully take
them to heart. They know how much their show means to you, and everyone who attends
the convention, because you wouldn't be there if it wasn't important in your life. That's the
beauty of Creation events, it's only for the biggest fans!

Accessibility

Can I bring my service animal?
• Creation Entertainment welcomes you and your service animals to our shows. We know
how valuable they are and the help they provide related to a person's disability. However,
dogs whose sole purpose is to provide emotional comfort or support do not qualify as
service animals under the ADA and are not permitted at our events.

The shows will have both features throughout, sometimes simultaneously. We ask that you
take precautions before attending our shows if you are sensitive to stimuli.

• If you need accommodations for seating with your wheelchair we ask that you purchase an
aisle seat, and then once at the show just let one of our staff know and we will remove the
seat for you.
• If you bought a General Admission ticket, which doesn't allow for reserved seating, let one
of our staff know and we will accommodate you in the GA areas.

I have difficulty standing for long periods of time, are there any accommodations?
• Speak to one of the Creation staff members at check in and we will gladly make
accommodations for you.

Karaoke Concert

How much is the Karaoke Concert?
•It is free for everyone at all ticket levels!

I want to sing a song on stage at the Karaoke Kings show, how do I go about doing that?
•Our DJ is available on Friday (see the event schedule when available for the exact time) to
meet fans who are interested in singing and help with their song selection. This is not a
guarantee you will be selected to sing on stage, it's the only way to get in the running!

Can we get up during performances? What about start a mosh pit or crowd surf?
• Due to Fire Marshall regulations everyone must be seated during performances, and
moshing and crowd surfing are dangerous!

Saturday Night Concert

Can we get up during performances? What about start a mosh pit or crowd surf?
• Due to Fire Marshall regulations everyone must be seated during performances, and moshing and crowd surfing are dangerous!

Is the concert included in my ticket?
• If you have purchased the Gold, Silver or Copper weekend passes the concert is included. For all others the concert will be available to purchase at an additional cost.

Will the "SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL" concert ticket get me into the daytime events?
• THE "SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL" CONCERT TICKET IS NOT A DAYTIME CONVENTION TICKET. IT IS A TICKET TO THE "SATURDAY NIGHT SPECIAL" CONCERT ONLY. You do not need a daytime convention ticket in order to attend this nighttime show. Just the nighttime show ticket.

Music Video Contest

Where can I find the rules?
• They will be listed on each show's page with all the details your heart might desire.

Can I just link you to my Youtube channel once my video is done?
• Not yet, unfortunately. At this moment we require you to send the video in on physical media. Check the event page for all the details.

VIP Auctions

Do I need an account to participate in an auction?
• Yes, you need to register for an account to participate in an auction.

What types of auctions do you run?
• We run two types of auctions on our site: Traditional and Dutch.
• Traditional Auctions: One item with everyone bidding on it, and the highest bid wins.
• Dutch Auctions: This is also called a "second price" auction and is used for bidding on
multiple identical items. Wikipedia has a great breakdown of how it works here:
