Unlike so many other genre conventions, Creation Entertainment has a strict company policy not to "oversell" our conventions. In other words, every patron, no matter what bracket of ticket they purchase, will have a seat in the main auditorium where the major guests appear and events take place. Nothing upsets us more than hearing about other conventions that sell tickets to patrons and then those very same patrons have to wait on additional lines inside the facility to get into (or sometimes not!) the main theatre. An important Creation Entertainment difference we want you to know about!
The Creation difference extends to our 40 years experience in running fan conventions. In the last few years we've seen promoter after promoter fail taking hard earned ticket money down with them. Inexperienced promoters, often first-timers, use celebrity images and names to get ticket money which they use to hopefully pay their expenses. When that fails they've already gone through "your" ticket money and they collapse leaving no recourse for ticket holders.
They say "buyer beware" but this has happened in Twilight, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly fandom (to name just a few) and we really feel for those great fans who have lost their ticket money and upset travel plans. |
|

**All Convention tickets have a $7.75 shipping/handling fee
charged per ticket ordered. This applies to all online, phone, fax and mail orders.
Note: Our ticketing office (Leticia) direct e-mail address has been changed to:

***Attention Attendees: Do not purchase Ticketmaster Tickets
from scalpers or anyone trying to offer tickets as you arrive at our convention
locations. Each ticket is checked for authenticity at the door and we can not
let you in if your ticket is counterfeit (which has happened recently). Please
buy your tickets only from Creation or, if we are using them, Ticketmaster! Thanks,
we appreciate your support! |
WANNA VOLUNTEER AT THIS CONVENTION?
GREAT! IT IS MUCH APPRECIATED!
Just drop Toni a line at the link below, mentioning the convention you are interested in!
PLEASE INCLUDE:
CONVENTION NAME, CITY & DATE IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF ALL CORRESPONDENCE.
A separate email is required for each show you wish to volunteer for. A separate email is required for each person volunteering. All volunteers must be 21 yrs or older.
We really appreciate your help in publicizing this event on-line. Grab our banners to put on your site! |

ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not (we always try to book replacements) and therefore we can not issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Of course we will always refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.
PHOTO TAKING POLICY AT THIS CONVENTION
We know that taking photos makes the convention even more fun and we thought it would be a good idea to share our photo taking policies for you before you arrive at the convention so you can prepare. In the auditorium, photo taking is encouraged, but only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to the stage and block the view of others who have paid for reserved seats in front of you. Even if there are empty seats, patrons must sit in the seats they paid for to be fair to everyone. Due to fire marshall regulations everyone must be seated during performances. Please also be courteous to your neighbors when taking pictures. Photo taking is not allowed during autographing sessions nor during the photo ops. Only those people who have autograph tickets may come up to get autographs. At the Gold Exclusive Parties and Breakfast: photo taking is encouraged when the guests arrive (but only from your seats). After a sufficient time for all to get their photos we ask that your cameras be placed down so the celebrities can enjoy their time at the two food functions. Thank you for understanding the need to have these few rules so everyone is safe and has fun.
The vast majority of our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Therefore it is incumbent upon those that ask questions to make them ones that allow our mutual shared time with the celebrities to be enjoyable, interesting and entertaining for all (including the guest). Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them (we all do, that's why we're here), giving gifts, getting into long personal stories, or worse, is not acceptable for this format and, in fact, is quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity. Join us in trying to make this convention the best entertainment for everyone!
In the event of convention cancellations or date changes Creation Entertainment is not responsible for patrons' costs involving travel or hotel accommodations or any other non convention ticket expenses.
Advance ticket sales are generally turned off early to mid-week of the week of the events. Tickets, if they are not sold out, are sold at the convention of course.

When we ran The Official STAR WARS Convention we brought in Gene Roddenberry as a surprise and this moment in time was a true highlight. Gene was a great mentor of ours and he is always in our thoughts, especially when we gather for our Official STAR TREK Conventions.
LOST was one of the great TV series of all-time and we were proud to be an official licensee for the show. Here three of the stars, Ian Somerhalder, Evangeline Lilly and Naveen Andrews, grace our stages in a Creation Convention appearance.

Two of our most popular celebrity guests from the Stargate franchise making their only Creation appearance together on stage: Michael Shanks and Amanda Tapping! We love following their careers post Stargate and look forward to enjoying their work for years to come!

How's this for cool? Arnold as THE Terminator at our Official T-2 Convention, an awesome occasion!

A VERY special moment in Creation History
BILL SHATNER & LEONARD NIMOY toasting the 40th Anniversary of Star Trek on the exact day, 4 decades later, that the original series began its TV run! Taken in Chicago at Creation's Salute to Star Trek's 40th! Thanks, Bill and Leonard for being such a big part of Creation Entertainment! Who would have thought that as kids that watched classic Trek, that one day we'd be working with these show biz legends!

History is made again at Creation when LEONARD NIMOY passes the ceremonial "#1 Vulcan" tee-shirt to the new Mr. Spock ZACHARY QUINTO. It all happened in front of the audience at Grand Slam XVI. Creation Conventions: it is ALL about making wonderful memories like this!

Superstar Legend Jack Nicholson made the "Creation" scene, a definite ultra-cool moment in our 40 plus year history!

Growing up watching THE AVENGERS was a particular joy so when Patrick Macnee joined the Creation line-up of stars it was a joyous occasion for us and his many fans!

It's never happened before or after but it was another of our proudest moments: having four STAR TREK Captains share the stage. Let's hope we can pull it off again some day and add a few more?

Long-time Creation friend (and early fan attendee turned superstar producer) DEAN DEVLIN brought along friends Hank Azaria and Harry Shearer to one of our shows. Dean is currently behind one of TV's greatest shows LEVERAGE!

The impeccable Ricardo Montalban created Star Trek's most popular villian as Khan but in person he truly was one of a kind and his two appearances for us were definitely amongst the most memorable! He is sorely missed by all Trekkers and was indeed a Hollywood classic himself!

Gracious and supportive to us as ever William Shatner made sure first time Creation guest star Joan Collins (in her only convention appearance) was comfortable on stage, reunited decades after their ultra-popular classic Trek appearance together!

As promised, a seat for all! Here's a scene of the amazing theatre we used for years for our Las Vegas Star Trek Convention. At Creation shows: no waiting and worrying about seeing the stars!

Pretty Cool we'd say to have welcomed the ultra talented Elijah Wood as Creation promoted several Official LORD OF THE RINGS events. We can't wait to do it all again for the new films!
Here's some shots of Leonard Nimoy's last convention appearance (courtesy of Paul Harvath), taken at our Chicago 2011 Official STAR TREK Convention. Thank You Leonard for your three decade association with Creation: we've loved every minute of presenting you to your adoring fans (of which we number ourselves!):

Leonard Nimoy's emotional farewell to Star Trek Conventions: 2011 Chicago

These guys are HILARIOUS on stage together and we love having them at our events: true superstars of the genre: Jonathan Frakes (now busy directing) and Brent Spiner!

COUNTDOWN TO STAR TREK: LAS VEGAS 2012:
|
After nine great years the world famous Official STAR TREK Convention moved to The Rio Suites in 2011 and history was made! It became the biggest and best STAR TREK Convention of all time, an enormous turn-out of fellow fans from around the galaxy sharing a mutual love and admiration of Gene Roddenberry's incredible legacy! With non-stop, round the clock action featuring over 70 celebrities, the 2011 convention received raves from all, truly an incredibly wonderful time and as such, we can't wait to do it again in 2012.
Our new home, The Rio Suites was a HUGE hit with our audience: everyone loved the super-large suite rooms, the fantastic selection of restaurants, buffets and bars, the exciting casino and its in the sky Masquerade show, and of course the state of the art theatres (featuring built in stages) and tech systems that offered impeccable sound even at the back of the main and secondary theaters.
The huge vendors room was continually bustling and along with cool Trek collectibles you could often catch celebrities at their own booths or just wandering around. ALL the Trek stars won kudos from fans for being so accessible and friendly. There is something special about Las Vegas and this convention that puts everyone in the best of spirits and makes this convention a one of a kind celebration.
Tens of thousands of autographs and photo ops were all completed, the parties at the hotel's Voodoo Lounge were very well received, and the many Star Trek actors in varied live theatrical performances tore the house down. Having the Three Captains (Bill, Sir Patrick and Kate) on stage together was a true kick, and of course Leonard Nimoy's last appearance in Vegas was a highly emotional moment for us all, including him!
The bingo bash was a smash, the food functions a joy, the auctions fast-paced and bargain filled, and one of our favorite events was catching "The Sulu Summit" with original George Takei and new star John Cho. Who could forget the Klingon Summit with four "real" Klingons on stage! Then there was the amazing Guinness Book of World Records where we all blew past the previous record of most Trek costumes in one place.
And, of course, the incredible William Shatner was on hand all four days directing his co-production with Creation Entertainment called FAN ADDICTS, a new television series that shows audiences what goes on behind the scenes of fan conventions.
Now after the success of 2011 we turn our attention to topping ourselves in 2012. Keep on the look out for new additions to this site and for our complimentary STAR TREK E-BULLETINS for on-going news. THANK YOU to all our fellow fans for making the Las Vegas Convention the place to be for anyone who loves Star Trek as much as we do!

THE CREATION COSTUME PARADE
Set for SATURDAY: The 2011 Convention showed that COSPLAY is HUGE in Vegas! Our educated guess is that on Saturday in 2011 over 1500 people came in costume! Along with our 2012 attempt to beat the world's record of most people in one place with Star Trek costumes Saturday 2012 will also boast the famous STAR TREK COSTUME COMPETITION, one of the definite highlights of the whole convention. There is so much amazing talent in the Star Trek fan community and so much camaraderie amongst costume designers that everyone was blown away by the presentations and zillions of cameras were clicking away throughout the convention as gracious costume wearers posed for all. We're working on a new good system to pre-judge so we can make the big theatre on-stage costume contest Saturday Night extra special and we'll be returning with a new set of celebrity judges. Lots of cool prizes including a very special $1000 best in show gift certificate. Let your spirit shine, come in costume and pump up the experience of The Official STAR TREK Convention, Vegas COSPLAY style! Our first celebrity judge is JOHN BILLINGSLEY, with more to come! |

WORLD RECORD!!!
The excitement was electric as our 2011 Vegas crowd took on the previous Guinness Book of World Records achievement of most Star Trek costumed people in one place (691) and history was made! With capacity in the room reached and scores of costumed fans still outside we massively crushed the number with an outstanding 1040 dressed attendees.
We don't know if any other convention worldwide will take a shot at this new number but we know we have to redo our attempt in 2012 so we can set our own new record (we'll need a bigger room)! So make your plans NOW to join the fun of being part of the action (it all happens SATURDAY of the convention)!

FOR ALL RESERVED SEATING TICKETS (everything other than general admission single day or general admission weekend packages) IF YOU WANT TO SIT NEAR FRIENDS YOU MUST ORDER ALL THE TICKETS TOGETHER UNDER ONE ORDER. |
This year for the first time we will be offering ADMISSION TICKETS TO THE OFFICIAL STAR TREK CONVENTION IN LAS VEGAS via email in PDF format where you can print your own tickets at home and bring them with you to the convention. Please make sure to bring ALL your printed out tickets to the convention as we can not replace any tickets forgotten or lost. This holds true for all ticket-buyers domestic and outside of The United States as we no longer have a will-call or hold ticket desk for admission tickets. The Rio Suites Hotel has convenient business office where you can print out your tickets if you have left them home by mistake. Once you present your ticket(s) at registration they will be scanned (for legitimacy and one-time use) and you will receive your wristband and lanyard credentials if appropriate to the type of ticket you have. For Gold Patrons you will receive your Trek-Treat cards, collectors gold coin, and complimentary autograph tickets at the convention registration upon arrival. For Captain's Chair Patrons you will receive your Trek-Treat cards and collector's gold coin at the convention registration upon arrival.

STAR TREK "CAPTAIN'S CHAIR" 2012 CONVENTION TICKETING
With the unprecedented early sell-out of Gold Weekend Packages (as of January 9, 2012, our earliest Gold sell-out in our 11 year Vegas Convention history: THANKS TO ALL) we are very proud to present the now best way to attend the 2012 convention.
Here's what you get when you go "CAPTAIN'S CHAIR" in 2012:
1) The very best reserved seats (to the sides or behind the now Sold Out Gold Weekend Packages) in the main theatre where all our major guests appear! These seats are YOURS, come and go, all FOUR DAYS of the convention. Great for photographers as you have close seats to the stage!
2) Complimentary admission to FRIDAY NIGHT "CAPTAIN'S CHAIR" PARTY including a delicious full dinner and entertainment from favorite Star Trek celebrities. Tentatively this party will once again be held at gorgeously famous VOODOO LOUNGE at the top of The Rio Suites Hotel. The 2011 party was wonderful and the setting dramatic, overlooking the incredible skyline of Vegas! The food was the best ever and the celebrity entertainment made the night even more special. The charge for this party (if bought separately) is at least $149 but it is included FREE to all CAPTAIN'S CHAIR patrons on Friday NIGHT. Food, to be detailed soon, includes finger goods, carving stations, desserts, vegetables; in reality an outrageous offering fully enjoyed by all! HERE'S A NEW CREATION ADDED KICKER FOR THE PARTY: TO CELEBRATE THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION AND TO THANK ALL OUR FELLOW FANS FOR COMING WE'RE THROWING IN THE FIRST DRINK ON US: LIQUOR OR SOFT DRINK (age permitting of course). SO RAISE ONE WITH US TO HONOR GENE RODDENBERRY & TNG!
3) You keep your same great CAPTAIN'S CHAIR seats for our famous SATURDAY NIGHT Gala Celebration that takes place in our main theatre. 2012 boasts the unprecedented concert starring multi-talented actor/musician AVERY BROOKS, the star of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. We LOVE to have our Star Trek stars "working it" on stage and showing their amazing performance skills and we've certainly hit a grand slam with this attraction that is not to be missed!
4) Complimentary admission to the super-fun SATURDAY NIGHT DESSERT PARTY with delicious desserts, tons of fellow fans from around the galaxy, and cool entertainment! It's the biggest party of the convention and it is exclusive to GOLD WEEKEND & CAPTAIN'S CHAIR Patrons ONLY (there is no other way to get in!)
5) Special limited edition collector's coin, the 11th in our series of Star Trek Gold Coins. Always a true souvenir keepsake, enjoy this $20 value which is part of being CAPTAIN'S CHAIR!
6) Your own "Creation Trek-Trek Card" which is filled with free gifts and bonus offers that you get in the vendors room. The 2011 card offered hand-signed autographed Star Trek photographs, toys, and lots of other goodies too! A definitely cool, fun extra value benefit!
7) Pre-Registration the night before the convention opens: this is one of our favorite benefits because it is so much fun to see everyone again! Here you get your program booklets and schedules, your free collector's gold coin, and have the opportunity to hit the vendors room (which is open) before anyone else. This benefit exists so you can get your registration done before the actual convention starts: it is not a necessity as you can also register anytime we're open during the convention.
8) Specially color coded wristbands which allow immediate entrance without waiting after initial registration. Unlike other fan conventions once you get your full convention wristband you are TOTALLY set for the weekend and YOU can choose what stars and events you want to see! You don't have to wait to get into the main theatre: there are ALWAYS enough seats for EVERYONE! This is the famous Creation difference that we like all our attendees to know about!
9) Collector's laminated credentials indicating your CAPTAIN'S CHAIR Weekend Package!
10) Special CAPTAIN'S CHAIR Pricing on select items at the Creation merchandise booths at the convention
11) Admission to the "Secondary Theatre" where we present a wonderful line-up of supporting stars on stage, video presentations, panels, no minimum bid auctions, and some "off the hook" surprises!
12) Admission, of course, to the galaxy's biggest STAR TREK vendors room: filled with goodies, both old and new: you'll LOVE it!
13) NEW!! Ability to actually pick your own seat off of our theatre floor plan! THE EARLIER YOUR ORDER: THE BETTER SEAT YOU CAN SELECT: IT IS THAT EASY!!!

AUTOGRAPH TICKETS
Autograph and Photo Op Tickets do not include admission to the convention. You must have an admission ticket for the convention in order to redeem autograph and photo op tickets.
Here is the incredibly rare chance to get an in person autograph from the sensational stars of STAR TREK. These stars will sign any item you bring from home or buy at the convention. There will be tons of great photographs and other collectibles available at the convention that will be suitable for signing purposes. If you have autographs included in the ticket packages you have purchased and you want more than one autograph per celebrity you can purchase them here and then get all your signatures from that celebrity at the same (first) time you are called up).
On rare occasions a patron will purchase a large number of signatures of a celebrity appearing at the show. In this case, Creation reserves the right to have this signing done either at the end or before the autograph sessions so we do not have to keep the rest of the patrons waiting so long. If you are ordering 20 or more signatures of one celebrity please write to booking@creationent.com after your purchase your tickets so we can try to set up a private signing at the convention for you. THANKS!
