WOW, are we ever loving the hit TV series Gotham. Our love of the Batman legend and lore goes back to our very first convention in 1971 and over the years we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming to our stages not only the creator of Batman, Bob Kane, but many of the original Batman TV stars to our stages as well as, of course, some of the great talents involved in the Batman comic books including legendary Frank Miller. The intriguing and unique look at the saga as presented in GOTHAM is one we’ve enjoyed tremendously, we love the actors and storylines, and we know so many others share our passion for the series judging by the requests for us to do a salute to the series and bring these wonderfully talented actors to our audiences to meet and get to know.

With that all in mind we are proud to present the very first Creation Salute to GOTHAM and we’ve put together an amazing lineup of celebrity guests. As with every Creation Convention, and unlike all those run by other companies, EVERY ticket holder is guaranteed a seat and many ticket options allow you to pick your own seat in the theatre. Saturday Night will offer a rock concert which is included in many of the packages and also on its own.

Unfortunately, David Mazouz has to cancel his scheduled appearance at the Chicago GOTHAM show October 14-15, 2017. He has a personal conflict that has arisen that he cannot move. Those that have his separate PHOTO OP ticket should bring it to REGISTRATION for a VOUCHER good for the purchase of any available tickets, autograph tickets, or photo ops. Drew will be hosting the event and performing with his band “Man Jam” throughout the weekend, as both our “house” band on stage throughout the convention and also as stars of Saturday Night’s concert. Drew also has a table in the vendors area where he’ll be selling his autograph, photos and CDs directly to fans for a nominal fee. He will also be doing photo ops each day (see below in the photo op section for more info).

Poison Ivy

Maggie Geha has just joined the cast of Fox’s GOTHAM as “Poison Ivy.” Geha has worked with Mark Wahlberg in TED 2 and with Hugh Grant in THE REWRITE. She will next be seen in the psychological thriller, THE HARROW. Geha is currently based in NYC where started her career both as an actor and model. She is originally from Vermont and Boston.  Day of Maggie’s appearance, autographs and photo ops to be announced.

Edward Nygma aka The Riddler

He will next be seen in Todd Haynes’s newest film Wonderstruck opposite Julianne Moore and Michelle Williams. He recently co-starred in the acclaimed award-winning HBO mini-series Olive Kitteridge opposite Frances McDormand, in Todd Haynes’s Academy Award nominated film Carol opposite Cate Blanchett, and Camp X-Ray opposite Kristen Stewart. On Broadway, he starred in Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's opposite Emilia Clarke. Off-Broadway and Regional theater credits include Cock aka The Cockfight Play (Duke Theater); The Whale (Playwrights Horizons; Denver Center); The Shaggs: Philosophy of the World (Playwrights Horizons; New York Theatre Workshop); Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them (Humana Festival, Actors Theater of Louisville), and The Fantasticks (Barrington Stage Company; Repertory Theatre of St. Louis). He is a graduate of Otterbein University. Cory will be on hand Sunday to speak on stage, sign autographs and do photo ops.

Mario Falcone

James will be appearing on stage, signing autographs and taking photo ops with fans on day to be announced.  James has been working in film, television and theater since graduating with honors from Carnegie Mellon Universities prestigious BFA Acting Program. He has starred in numerous television shows and films including most recently playing Mario Falcone on Fox’s Gotham and TV: CBS’s The Good Wife, Person of Interest, The Mob Doctor, Castle, Blue Bloods, Body of Proof, In Plain Sight, Law and Order SVU, The Closer, among many others. On film, he starred opposite Sean Penn in Gangster Squad, as well as Marvel’s The Punisher, The Great Raid, and the upcoming The Dunning Man. Broadway credits include the original companies of the Tony nominated hit Rock of Ages (Stacee Jaxx), Xanadu, and Saturday Night Fever for which he received an Outer Critics Circle nomination. Off Broadway, James recently starred in The Signature Theater’s acclaimed revival of Arthur Miller’s Incident at Vichy, and Stupid Kids directed by Michael Mayer. 
As a producer, James is a partner along with Patrick Wilson and Marcus Chait in Lost Rhino Films, whose first feature Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife was recently sold to Tribeca Films. James currently splits his time between Brooklyn and Los Angeles with his wife Amy Acker and their two children.

Theo Galavan

James will be at his table in the vendors room on Saturday and Sunday, selling his autographs directly to fans for a nominal fee determined by him with times determined by him as well. James will be appearing on stage both Saturday and Sunday. James will also do photo ops each day.

Unlike so many other genre conventions, Creation Entertainment has a strict company policy not to "oversell" our conventions. In other words, every patron, no matter what bracket of ticket they purchase, will have a seat in the main auditorium where the major guests appear and events take place.

YOUR SPECIAL MASTER OF CEREMONIES FOR THE CONVENTION: DREW POWELL

One of the super-fun additions that Creation has tried to add to fan conventions is the use of celebrities to serve as MCs during the weekend and with our Salute to Gotham’s stars, we really have a great choice in talented Drew Powell. Not only is his band, Man Jam, on stage all weekend as our house band, but they will also star at our Saturday Night Celebrity Concert. Drew not only has played Butch Gilzean throughout Gotham, he has a long a distinguished 17-year career as an actor in films and television including playing “Hoss” in the remake of Bonanza while continuing his music career as well.

We are pleased to announce a VERY unique evening of entertainment for attendees on Saturday. Hosted by DREW POWELL and his band MAN JAM, and featuring selected guest celebrities, we will be presenting a musical concert that is sure to please. With our other official conventions this night of live entertainment has always proved to be a true highlight of the entire weekend. GUEST PERFORMERS TO BE ANNOUNCED.

THE SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRITY CONCERT is complimentary for our Gold, Silver and Copper Patrons (who keep their same great seats they had during the day). For others a nominal fee of $30 grants a non-reserved seat for the night.

THIS CONCERT TICKET IS NOT A DAYTIME CONVENTION TICKET. IT IS A TICKET TO THE “SATURDAY NIGHT CELEBRITY CONCERT" ONLY. You do not need a daytime convention ticket in order to attend this night-time show. Just the night-time show ticket.

Here’s your chance to put all that GOTHAM watching to good use in our famous trivia competitions. Our first, on SATURDAY is The Yes/No Game allowing 90 players the chance to win hundreds of dollars worth of gift certificates by showing off your knowledge of all things about the series.

On Sunday, we’ll pick a panel of experts from the attendees and then allow our audience to try and STUMP THE EXPERTS, again giving attendees a chance to pick up GOTHAM or genre merchandise gifts by knowing all about the show. It’s super-fun so start re-bingeing the show now! We also are working on some new trivia contests too!

We are happy to present a vendors area that will feature cool merchandise for fans of the genre. We will also have photographs for sale that the stars will autograph, but of course they will sign things you bring from home or other souvenirs.

The convention proudly features two no-minimum bid auctions (one each day) which offers attendees the opportunity to grab some of the beautiful banners that we have autographed by the stars as well as other Gotham and genre merchandise. BARGAINS GALORE for sure so don’t miss them!


THE CREATION COSTUME PARADE

The costume parade (a Creation tradition that began with our first fan convention in 1971) continues stronger than ever as cosplay has exploded in popularity and at this event we’ll get to celebrate the gorgeous wonderful costume and makeup artists on GOTHAM.

Come as your favorite GOTHAM character, or make up your own and amp up your experience at the gathering. Our actual Costume Competition takes place on Saturday. Everyone who enters wins a prize, but the best of show wins a $250 gift certificate. Start working on your costume now and let your creativity shine for all to see! Bring your camera to grab shots of our guests of course, but also of the fans who have taken the time to develop their own costumes!

THE SALUTE TO GOTHAM FAN MUSIC VIDEO CONTEST

Everyone loves catching the fan-produced music videos we proudly run throughout the convention. It is always fun to share some hot music coupled with favorite scenes from GOTHAM that fans produce. We must say how very talented the "fan" editors have become based on other properties we’ve worked with on other conventions in the past. If you are a talented video editor now is your chance to show off your creativity and vie for prizes at Creation Entertainment’s Official Convention Tour 2016-2017.

Rules: one music video about GOTHAM may be submitted on DVD only (please no computer-based media like CD accepted). PLEASE USE ONLY NTSC FORMAT FOR YOUR DVD. Entries are judged on the following criteria: video quality, audio quality, editing quality, inventiveness, song selection and originality. Humorous submissions are encouraged. Entries cannot be returned, and person submitting entry is granting Creation the right to play this entry in perpetuity at Creation events worldwide and/or online at the Creation website(s). Creation does not sell music videos so your entry will never be sold as a commercial product, just presented at our events/online.

Winners will receive a $100 gift certificate good for Creation merchandise (Creation merchandise only, excludes convention, autograph and photo-op tickets). Winners will be announced and certificates awarded on site. Please tell us which specific convention the music video is for and send in your video using order confirmation or signature required in order to know if it has arrived. We do not announce winners until the event. Thanks and good luck!

Note: Due to the high volume of entries for our Music Video Contests, we are forced to limit entries to those people actually attending the specific show they are entering for. You do not have to be present for the actual showing of your video, but you must claim your award on site before the end of the weekend or your award will be forfeited.

Please only submit a specific music video entry for one event, do not repeat the same submission at multiple events because it will not be considered after its first convention showing. Also, we ask that you do not recycle your previously submitted music videos with updates or changes as they will not be considered for use/contest entry. Your disc must be sleeved or in a jewel case or it will not be accepted. Please do not use images of the celebrities from other filmed appearances, movies or TV shows.

IN PERSON CELEBRITY AUTOGRAPHS

Autograph and Photo Op tickets do not include admission to the convention. You must have an admission ticket for the convention in order to redeem autograph and photo op tickets. Photography is not allowed during the autograph sessions.

Note: Guests usually appear ONE day of the convention, so therefore their autographing and/or photo ops take place that day, except occasions which will be noted in the text. YOU ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE UP TO FOUR FANS IN A PHOTO, HOWEVER TO DO THAT YOU WOULD NEED TO PURCHASE TWO TICKETS (TWO FANS TIMES TWO TICKETS = FOUR FANS). Because of logistics and timing and at the request of our guests and photographers we cannot accommodate over FOUR fans in any one photo op.

If you’d like a pose, you can tell it to the guests, but please make sure you have your pose ready to go. Bring a picture that shows the pose if you think you may have a hard time explaining it. If you have props, please make sure they are easily held and ready to go.

Due to time constraints, here are some of the things we cannot allow: putting on clothing, blankets, ties etc…, floor poses, handcuffs, rose petals, confetti or anything that creates a mess that requires cleanup. Please do not ask to be picked up in the photo. We obviously do not want anyone to get hurt.

Please know, that if you want a hug, go for a “hug shot.” Please do not ask for a hug before or after the photo is taken as it takes up someone else’s photo op time.

Your photo will be taken by Creation's all knowing and super-powerful official staff photographers. They take the best pictures, make the stars comfortable and willing to pose more freely with fans, and generally are beloved by all. ** Please note that we cannot accept "on cellphone" tickets for autograph and photo op sessions so you must print them out at home and bring them to the convention on paper, not your phone. Thank you! We can accept "on cellphone" tickets for admission however.

WE FINALIZE PREREGISTRATION AND OTHER SCHEDULING WHEN WE GET CLOSER TO THE EVENT AND KNOW BOTH THE GUESTS ITINERARIES AND THE HOTEL’S OTHER BOOKINGS.  Regarding the issue of alcoholic beverages at the convention: we do not allow alcohol to be present in our function rooms including the main theatre. This includes daily panel events and any night events. We kindly ask, for the evening event(s), you do not bring bags unless necessary. Water stations will be available in the room and, for those that have special medical needs, you can discreetly discuss those with security before entering and we will do bag checks. We regret that we've had to take this measure, but we must protect our audience and celebrities and we’ve been advised that this is a necessity. We retain the right not to allow entrance into any of the events to anyone who shows up appearing intoxicated. 

ADA rules on service animals: This event welcomes service animals as per the ADA rules. Service animals perform valuable work or tasks and are trained to provide help directly related to a person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and therefore are not permitted at our event.

For those attending our conventions and making travel plans: please know that the majority of guests that appear on stage do so usually in the later part of the day (although that is sometimes different for actors working on a current series). Sometimes autographing runs into the evening or later when guests appear late in the day. Because we have to wait for guests to give us their flight information we cannot tell you in advance when these autograph sessions will occur until the convention schedule is posted at this website a few days before the event. For those out-of-towners that want to guarantee autographs of stars appearing on Sunday we do suggest staying over or planning a later leaving time. 

PLEASE BE CAREFUL! We do suggest buying tickets only from the original source: through this website. Because all tickets are scanned for use at the convention we can ONLY allow the first person in using each singular ticket. Autograph and photo op tickets are also scanned for one time use. WE’VE NOTICED A PICKUP IN BOGUS TICKETS and well-meaning fans being ripped off by those that have just resold copied tickets. 

Flashes occur from phone and cameras often during stage presentations. If you are sensitive to such lighting please be advised to take the necessary precautions. For our attendees please keep flash photography to a minimum and familiarize yourself on how to get the best pictures in different lighting situations. Generally flash is not the best way to take photos at the convention. We will attempt to have a more detailed note page of getting the best pictures at conventions available soon.

ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not (we always try to book replacements) and therefore we cannot issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Of course we will always refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.

PHOTO TAKING POLICY AT THIS CONVENTION We know that taking photos makes the convention even more fun and we thought it would be a good idea to share our photo taking policies for you before you arrive at the convention so you can prepare. In the auditorium, photo taking is encouraged, but only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to the stage and block the view of others who have paid for reserved seats in front of you. Even if there are empty seats, patrons must sit in the seats they paid for to be fair to everyone. Due to fire marshal regulations everyone must be seated during performances. Please also be courteous to your neighbors when taking pictures. Photo taking is not allowed during autographing sessions nor during the photo ops. Only those people who have autograph tickets may come up to get autographs. At the Gold Exclusive Parties and Breakfast: photo taking is encouraged when the guests arrive (but only from your seats). After a sufficient time for all to get their photos we ask that your cameras be placed down so the celebrities can enjoy their time at the two food functions. Thank you for understanding the need to have these few rules so everyone is safe and has fun.

The vast majority of our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Therefore it is incumbent upon those that ask questions to make them ones that allow our mutual shared time with the celebrities to be enjoyable, interesting and entertaining for all (including the guest). Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them (we all do, that's why we're here), giving gifts, getting into long personal stories, or worse, is not acceptable for this format and, in fact, is quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity. Join us in trying to make this convention the best entertainment for everyone!

In the event of convention cancellations or date changes Creation Entertainment is not responsible for patrons' costs involving travel or hotel accommodations or any other non-convention ticket expenses.

Advance ticket sales are generally turned off early to midweek of the week of the events. Tickets, if they are not sold out, are sold at the convention of course.

We are not responsible for orders that are rejected during processing that may be due to customer errors (usually caused because the customer does not complete the entire ordering process to the very end), credit card failures (usually caused when there is not enough funds in an account or the credit card company rejects the charge for any number of reasons including out-of-state ordering or unfamiliar ordering to the customers’ general pattern), or system errors during transmission of the order.

Creation assumes no responsibility for typographical errors or inaccurate information provided by convention venues. All dates, venues and guests are considered tentative and subject to change. Check back frequently for updates.

By attending Creation events you agree to allow your image to be used on our website and in news documentaries or stories, either filmed by Creation Entertainment or other entities.

In the unlikely event of a cancellation of the convention, or a date change, Creation Entertainment is not responsible for refunding airfare or any other costs other than the payments made directly to Creation Entertainment for ticketing. Also in the unlikely event, due to weather, transit issues or last-minute illness or other reason given by celebrity, an advertised guest does not make their appearance at the convention, Creation Entertainment is not responsible for any refunds other than separate specific to the guest autograph tickets or photo op tickets. In the extremely rare chance that a guest does not finish his or her autographs or photo ops (which has only happened in a handful of cases over 40-plus years, always due to something out of our control) Creation Entertainment will only be responsible for the refund of the separate autograph or photo op ticket.
