Derek Russell is an award-winning journalist and multimedia storyteller. A former G4 correspondent, Russell has produced some of the earliest television-focused “after show” podcasts dating back to 2005 with The House of El (covering “Smallville” and Superman), The 10th Wonder (NBC’s “Heroes”) and Skynext (Fox’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”) and has hosted panels and events based on those properties from San Diego Comic Con and beyond.
His prose, commentary and reporting have appeared in the pages of DC Comics and national outlets like the Associated Press. Russell continues hosting The House of El two decades later – the flagship show of his company McFly Media Group, LLC which produces content from podcasts like “…with Brian Austin Green” to “Oldish.”
