CONVENTION SEATING & THE CREATION ENTERTAINMENT DIFFERENCE:
Unlike so many other genre conventions, Creation Entertainment has a strict company policy not to "oversell" our conventions. In other words, every patron, no matter what bracket of ticket they purchase, will have a seat in the main auditorium where the major guests appear and events take place. Nothing upsets us more than hearing about other conventions that sell tickets to patrons and then those very same patrons have to wait on additional lines inside the facility to get into (or sometimes not!) the main theatre. An important Creation Entertainment difference we want you to know about!

ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as can a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not (we always try to book replacements) and therefore we can not issue admission ticket or ticket package refunds if a particular guest does not fulfill their appearance contract. Of course we will always refund separately purchased photo ops and autograph tickets for a guest if they cancel.

The vast majority of our guest celebrities take questions from the audience during their on-stage time. Therefore it is incumbent upon those that ask questions to make them ones that allow our mutual shared time with the celebrities to be enjoyable, interesting and entertaining for all (including the guest). Asking for hugs, telling stars we love them (we all do, that's why we're here), giving gifts, getting into long personal stories, or worse, is not acceptable for this format and, in fact, is quite self-centered when you are in essence "representing" all of fandom to a celebrity. Join us in trying to make this convention the best entertainment for everyone!

STAR TREK CELEBRITY CABARET
FRIDAY NIGHT 9 PM

Here is one of our favorite parts of our conventions because our guests get to do what they do best: entertain! Tentative performers for this special evening include DOMINIC KEATING, ARMIN SHIMERMAN, JG HERTZLER and MAX GRODENCHIK. This event is complimentary for Gold Weekend Patrons (who will keep the same seats they have all weekend). For all others, tickets are priced as follows:

CABARET RESERVED SEATING: $25

CABARET GENERAL ADMISSION: $15
(A non-reserved seat in the rear of the theatre)

"HOLLYWOOD COCKTAIL PARTY"
with THE STARS!
FRIDAY NIGHT 10:15 PM

Friday night (right after the cabaret ends) we are happy to announce this all-new party not included in any ticket packages! Here, with an intimate number of fans in attendance, we supply the drinks (two beers, wine or cocktails) and the celebrities to party with (Dominic Keating, Robin Curtis, JG Hertzler and Max Grodenchik). Open to a limited number of fans: join the fun and celebrate!

Also on hand for the convention weekend will be these talented supporting stars. They will participate in on-stage events and be present in the vendors area to meet fans and sign autographs for a nominal fee.

BARRIE INGHAM - Danilo O'Dell in TNG's "Up the Long Ladder", Barrie was the voice of Basil of Baker Street in Walt Disney's Basil, the Great Mouse Detective. He has appeared on television in Dr. Who, The Avengers, The A-Team, Murder She Wrote and scores of others, and on film inThe Day of the Jackal. He starred in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love (both in London and on Broadway), as well as Jekyll and Hyde, Gypsy and Camelot. He was most recently seen in the TV mini-series The Triangle.

STAR TREK FEATURE FILM UPDATE

We'll be covering the latest news on the movie we're all eagerly awaiting: STAR TREK, coming MAY 2009 and we'll be there!

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The bridge of the starship Enterprise is filling up.

Chris Pine, who had been in talks to join the cast of J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" flick, will play the young James Kirk, while Karl Urban will take on the role of Dr. Leonard McCoy, distributor Paramount confirmed.

They join previously announced cast members Zachary Quinto as Vulcan scientist Spock, Simon Pegg as engineer Scotty, John Cho as helmsman Sulu, Zoe Saldana as communications officer Uhura and Anton Yelchin as navigator Chekov.

Leonard Nimoy, who played Enterprise science officer Spock in the 1960s TV series and six "Star Trek" feature films, also will appear as an older version of the Vulcan.

Eric Bana, the star of Steven Spielberg's "Munich" and Ang Lee's "Hulk," is playing a villain in the "Trek" film, which begins shooting in November and is due out in May 2009.

Abrams, creator of "Lost" and director of "Mission: Impossible III," is keeping the plot secret for the film that follows the early days of the "Star Trek" crew, which was led by William Shatner as the bold Capt. Kirk.

Pine's credits include the movies "Smokin' Aces" and "Just My Luck," while Urban appeared in two of the "The Lord of the Rings" movies and "The Bourne Supremacy."

RONALD HELD Private Researcher
"Sublight Propulsion for Relativistic Interstellar Travel"

In this presentation, lecturer Ronald Held will briefly cover three sets of slower than light but relativistic propulsion methods, the last is the antimatter rocket. Mr. Held holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. As a private researcher influenced by Star Trek, one of his interests is in faster than light travel.

Each day of the convention will feature a fast-paced fun filled no minimum auction which offers attendees the opportunity to pick up great Star Trek and sci-fi media collectibles at a fraction of their true value. Much of the material is hand-signed by celebrities and these auctions prove to be a great place to purchase autographed items because you know that they are legitimate and gotten through deals that Creation has with the stars when they appear at our conventions.

It's one of the favorite things to do at the convention: get in-person autographs from the stars we love! If you have autograph tickets included in your ticket package and you want additional ones you get them all at the first time you come up to the celebrity. We do signings in an orderly row by row fashion for package holders, followed by numbered tickets.

Talk about awesome convention souvenirs and the subject usually rolls around to Creation's CELEBRITY PHOTO OPS which allow our wonderful attendees to grab a gorgeous 8 by 10 full color photograph with their favorite celebrities. Please read: PHOTO OP F.A.Q.

Due to security considerations and guest concerns we can no longer facilitate the giving of gifts to guests at the photo op sessions. We will be happy to accept gifts for our celebrity guests after 3pm daily at registration and we will gather them and make sure the guests get them. Please note that because guests usually travel by plane they are unable to take gifts home with them. We hope you understand the security issues involved. Thank you!

For New York City fans: take the train from Penn Station and it is a 12 minute ride from Penn Station to the Secaucus Train Station. Then, take a cab for the five minute ride to our convention hotel. You can also call the hotel for their complimentary shuttle service. Also, the convenient New Jersey Transit Bus #129 leaves from The Port Authority in Manhattan and stops at "Meadowlands Parkway and Cove Court (Panasonic)". Walk north on Meadowlands parkway for approximately 0.1 miles, (you will pass the Meadowlands hospital and it will be on your left hand side). Turn left at Harmon Plaza. The hotel is located on 2 Harmon Plaza. Total walking distance 0.2 miles.
