The 4th Annual General Hospital Convention, being held on its new date of May 14-16, 2021 at the Burbank Marriott Airport Hotel, is back on sale!

Many of the guests have now confirmed to attend in 2021, and we continue to work on getting all confirmations, so check below for updates!

REMINDER: We notified all General Hospital 2020 Ticketholders via the email address used at the time of purchase about the NEW 2021 DATE and that the deadline to request a refund was AUGUST 5, 2020. If you did not request a refund by then, your admission passes and a la carte photo op and autograph purchases were transferred to the new date. You will receive new tickets for the 2021 date as your 2020 tickets will no longer be valid. If you requested a refund, and have not received it yet, please allow up to 8 weeks from the deadline date for your request to be processed. If you have any questions, please contact us at customer.service@creationent.com.

It’s such an honor to present the 4th Annual General Hospital Convention in Burbank, celebrating ABC Network’s Emmy-award winning show.

General Hospital hails as the longest running American soap opera currently in production and the show keeps getting better and better, with its rich, compelling characters and romantic, inspiring and gripping storylines. It has never shied away from tackling difficult subject matter and socially relevant issues such as sexual responsibility, AIDS/HIV, tolerance and understanding for LBGTQ people, the #MeToo movement, Alzheimer's and more. To this day, it still has some of the most watched moments in TV history.

Along with the support from our long-standing partnership with ABC and the producers of General Hospital, we take great pride in providing fellow GH fans an immersive and unique experience where they can see their favorite actors in person, catch up with old friends (and make new ones, too) and participate in a weekend full of excitement, music and fun!

The General Hospital set tours, led by the show’s producing legend M.K. Weir -CONFIRMED, is an amazing special event at the convention! The tours are complimentary and exclusive only for our Gold and Silver Weekend Admission Package patrons.

As you walk the hallowed steps of the historic Prospect Studios to see the new and iconic sets from General Hospital, your guide M.K. Weir will also ask trivia questions and give out prizes to people who answer her questions correctly. The tour takes place before convention hours, so you won't miss a minute of the show. Best of all, photo taking will be allowed on the sets!

M.K. Weir has worked in daytime television for 25 years for companies such as Procter & Gamble, ABC, NBC and Aaron Spelling Productions. Positions have included Casting Associate, Production Assistant, P&G Writer Development Program, Associate Director and Producer. Along with General Hospital, her other work includes great shows such as Another World, One Life To Live, Sunset Beach, Passions and Days of Our Lives.

Guests must be 18 years of age or older to visit the sets, and each tour lasts about an hour. Complimentary round-trip bus transportation will be provided from the hotel lobby and you’ll be returned there in time for the convention activities to begin. We give special thanks to ABC, Disney and the GH production crew for allowing us this unique opportunity in giving loyal GH fans an incredible experience!

We’re so happy to have Laura Wright ("Carly Corinthos") once again bring her A-game as host for the entire weekend, introducing the guest panels with her energetic personality and making sure everyone is having a great time!



We’re proud to have Drop Zone as our amazing house band for the whole weekend, playing in between guest panels and more!

For 15 incredible years, fans of Santa Clarita’s premier classic rock band have recognized an uncommon chemistry that permeates their music. Drop Zone continues to win over audiences in a wide variety of venues, including countless club dates, outdoor concerts, charitable events, and private parties. The versatility of the band derives from the depth and diversity of its playlist, the eclectic influences of the musicians, and the ability to respond to an audience's musical needs in real time. 

Meticulously crafted multi-instrumental arrangements accompany chord-like two and three-part harmonies. Drop Zone enjoys momentum driven by a growing host of loyal fans, satisfied club owners, and repeat corporate clients, like our group! 



Get ready for the chance to sing your favorite karaoke song, with your fab host William Lipton! This fun Karaoke Party is a great way to spend Friday night. Admission is FREE and you DO NOT need a convention pass to attend this event. Just come to sing and dance!

Please note that this is a GENERAL ADMISSION EVENT, so you do not keep your same seats you had during the day. For those who want, or need, seating at the Karaoke Party, there will be seats available in the rear of the theater.

Note: Although these are FREE events and you do not need a convention pass to attend, please be aware that there is still a limited capacity at each venue. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis and space may be filled to capacity.




You know them as Jason and Spinelli, but did you know that Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson are perhaps even more entertaining in real life? See for yourself as the guys present the Stone Cold and Jackal Show, a 90-minute music and comedy show that includes parody songs, jokes, and stories about General Hospital. Spend your Saturday night laughing it up with two of your GH favorites!

The special Saturday night event is included in the Gold, Silver or Copper packages and you get to keep your same reserved seats that you have during the day. Convention admission passes are not required to purchase a this event ticket or attend this event, but this event is an evening event ONLY and the ticket does NOT include an admission pass for any daytime programming.  A la carte tickets are $59 and can be purchased on our website or on-site at the convention.

Think you have what it takes to edit an amazing video showing your love for all things General Hospital and set to great music? Here’s your chance to shine!

Entries are judged on the following criteria:
• Video, Audio & Editing quality
• Inventiveness
• Song selection & originality
• Humorous submissions are encouraged!

Open to all General Hospital fans for submission whether you can attend the convention or not, ONE winner will receive a gift certificate and have their video played on the big screen (if time allows).

Note: Gift certificate prizes are valid for one year from date of issue and can be used towards Creation Merchandise ONLY and excludes admission passes and a la carte autograph/photo op/concert/special event tickets.

Below you'll find the rules, submission guidelines and anything else you might need to know:

• One GENERAL HOSPITAL music video may be submitted, and only one.
• All submissions must be on DVD and in a sleeve or jewel case to be accepted. -We do accept music videos on Apple-compatible flash drives and also NTSC formatted DVDs.
• If submitting a flash drive, please make sure all files are compatible with Quicktime. 
• In your video submission, you must list the specific convention the music video is for, as well as print your name and the name of your entry (ex: the song name). PLEASE PRINT CLEARLY so we can identify your submission. Illegible submissions will not be accepted. 
• Entries are limited to people attending the specific event. This is due to an overwhelming number of submissions.
• Send your video using an order confirmation or signature required so you know if your video was received. • Please keep the submissions under five minutes.
• Winners are announced at the event.
• You do not have to be present for the actual showing of your video, but you must claim your award at the show before the end of the weekend or your award will be forfeited.
• The competition closes 40 days prior to the convention. We will NOT make any exceptions to this.
• Don't forget about the great supporting cast members of the show!
• We ask that you do not use footage from shows other than General Hospital.
• Entries cannot be returned, and person submitting entry is granting Creation the right to play this entry in perpetuity at Creation events worldwide and/or online at the Creation website(s).
Creation does not sell music videos so your entry will never be sold as a commercial product, just presented at our events/online.
• Do not submit the same video for multiple events. It will not be considered after its first submission. This also goes for videos that have been recycled with only minor changes.

We’re pleased to have the multi-talented Michael Fairman as our moderator for the whole weekend. Michael will be on-stage Friday, Saturday and Sunday, moderating the various guest panels on each day and lending his expertise on all things daytime TV!

The multi-talented Michael Fairman began his professional journey as a young singer in New York and has been working in the entertainment business as a singer/songwriter, TV producer, journalist – and currently a leading expert in the field of daytime and primetime drama.

Michael has a very special connection to the fans, and they to him, which has made him such a great ambassador for the genre and earned him quite the following on social media.

His popular website features engaging celebrity conversations, and he hosts NBC’s “Inside Salem: Days of Our Lives Podcast,” currently on NBC.com and iTunes, along with the popular monthly podcast, “Soap Nation Live!” Michael also currently serves as the content producer for the first app of its kind for a daytime drama series, “The DOOL app” for Days of Our Lives. He has worked as a correspondent for several international television publications, including TV Guide Online, In-Touch Weekly, CBS Watch! and Advocate.com.

In recent years, Michael has gone back to his first love of music. With his You Tube channel, The Michael Fairman Channel, he shares insights on the top hits of today as well as shares several of his music videos.

He recently released his debut single, “Thing About Me,” which takes on the often toxic world of social media, and how we need to spread a universal message that encourages everyone to stand up and be proud of their authentic selves. Michael is currently in the studio crafting more tracks for an upcoming release.

Please make sure to bring ALL your PDF admission passes and a la carte autograph/photo op/concert/special event tickets to the convention as we cannot replace any passes or tickets forgotten or lost. This holds true for all pass and ticket-buyers domestic and outside of the United States as we do not have a will-call or hold desk. Our convention venues and/or host hotel generally have a business office where you can print out your pre-purchased items if needed. Once you present your PDF(s), they will be scanned for legitimacy and PDFs may be used only one time. Some photo op sessions require your PDF to be validated, so please check the schedule for instructions. If there are duplicate PDFs, we will honor the first scanned only.

Weekend Admission Packages vs Single-Day Admission Passes:


The Gold, Silver, Copper and General Admission Weekend Packages are full-convention admission passes that allow you access for the whole weekend. Gold, Silver and Copper include reserved seating and General Admission Weekend passes are not reserved seats, but are guaranteed a seat in the General Admission section. You will not need to purchase any additional single-day admission passes. 

The Single-Day Admission Passes are admission for the SPECIFIC day you choose to attend the convention. With your single-day admission pass, you’ll be able to see the guest panels and daytime events for the DAY you choose to attend. Preferred single-day are reserved seats that you choose when you purchase your pass on our website. General Admission single-day passes are not reserved seats, but are guaranteed a seat in the General Admission section.

Reserved Seats

Reserve your seat in our main theater for the entire event! Choose your seats while ordering the admission package on-line, ensuring the best views in the house. This seat is yours for the whole three days, so there’s no fighting for a spot with your evil long-lost sibling who has co-opted your life!

Note: If a celebrity whose autograph is included in Gold must cancel, we work to try and replace with another guest (or multiple guests) who will sign in place of the canceled guest. Priority Pre-registration

As a result of the Supreme Court Ruling during 2018 affecting online sales taxes (both state and local taxes), various states are requiring sales tax (both state and local taxes) on ANY online sales; therefore, you may now start seeing a separate charge on your invoice for this sales tax. Having the chance to get in-person autographs from the stars of General Hospital is an amazing experience, and we've worked hard to bring it to you!

The stars will sign almost any item you bring from home or you can buy an item at the convention, but you need to have an item for the celebrity to sign. There will be tons of great photographs of some of the stars in character as well as other collectibles available at the convention that are perfect for signing. Personalizations are at the discretion of the celebrity and may be determined by scheduling or other issues. Items that are deemed inappropriate will not be presented at the autograph table.

The show schedule is finalized the week of the convention to accommodate flight itineraries and filming schedules of our celebrities.

Convention activities usually start around 10:00 a.m. but may begin earlier depending on schedules. Stage programming also usually ends around 6:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. and some autograph sessions begin after stage programming is complete for the day. This can run until 10:00 p.m. so PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY! Signings start later on Sundays, so we recommend that you plan to stay late or stay overnight. The final schedule is always posted one day PRIOR TO THE CONVENTION on either WEDNESDAY (for our three-day conventions) or THURSDAY (for our two-day conventions). 

Most often we do pre-registration the night before the convention. It is not a necessity, just a convenience, and it gets full convention-goers their credentials, printed schedules, options to get any autograph and photo op tickets still available, and, of course, first crack at souvenirs. We finalize pre-registration and other scheduling when we get closer to the event and know both the guests’ itineraries and the hotel’s other bookings.

When the full schedule is posted on the website and is handed out on-site at the convention, PLEASE CAREFULLY CHECK THE SCHEDULE TIMES FOR PHOTO OPS and AUTOGRAPHS, so you know where to be and don’t miss your opportunity. Please be on time and follow the directions that are in the schedule.

WOW, it is hard to believe that we have been running conventions for our fellow fans for so many incredible years and what a ride it has been! Thanks to our fellow fans, we’ve loved bringing the stars direct to their audiences. 

Unlike so many other genre conventions, Creation Entertainment has a strict company policy not to "oversell" our conventions. In other words, every patron, no matter what bracket of admission pass they purchase, will have a seat in the main auditorium where the major guests appear and events take place. 

Creation Entertainment has the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, without prior notice, especially those who interfere with the safety and well-being of other patrons, staff, actors, Creation Entertainment and the establishment itself. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment of any kind both in advance and/or at a particular event, illegal activity, unreasonable rowdiness, inconsideration to others and patrons lacking adequate hygiene. Refusal of service shall never be based on race or color, National origin or citizenship status, religion or creed, sex, age, disability, pregnancy or genetic information, Veteran or Military status, marital status, sexual orientation or gender identity, medical condition, political affiliations or activities, or status as a victim of domestic violence, assault or stalking.

 

Here is some pertinent information for you to have about Creation’s conventions, certain policies and more.


ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-EXCHANGEABLE

All guests and scheduling are tentative and subject to change. Creation Entertainment does not advertise any talent without written permission from the talent or their representation. 

Please do not come for just one actor. Our events are a celebration of the series and multiple actors from the show attend. If we have a cancelation, we will do our best to book a replacement or we will provide our Gold/Silver patrons with a pre-signed photo of the actor not in attendance if the canceled actor was signing for Gold/Silver.

In the event of a guest cancellation or a date change: ALL GUESTS are contracted to appear and all convention contracts specify that appearances are tentative and subject to change as film and television work demands take precedence as well as a personal conflict. Our events will take place whether a specific guest cancels or not and therefore we cannot issue admission pass refunds if a particular guest is not able to attend. If a guest must cancel their appearance at the convention, Creation Entertainment is not responsible for any refunds other than the a la carte specific-to-the-guest autograph or photo op tickets as another guest will be booked as a replacement in signing for Gold/Silver or a pre-signed photo will be provided if a replacement signer is not possible. Also, in the extremely rare chance that an actor does not finish his or her autographs or photo ops (which has only happened in a hand full of cases due to something out of our control), we will only be responsible for the refund of the a la carte autograph or photo op ticket if not redeemed. We will refund or issue a credit voucher only for a la carte photo ops and autograph tickets for a specific actor if they cancel. 

Creation is also not be held responsible for any financial loss associated with the purchase of air tickets or hotel rooms that are not canceled (virtually all hotels offer a 24 or 48-hour cancelation policy, so there should be no jeopardy associated with reservations). We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance for any unforeseen issues.

Disease and Illness Disclaimer: By using your admission pass, you recognize that disease and illness, including, but not limited to, the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the common cold, may be spread through interaction with other people.  Creation Events programs may be attended by many, sometimes numbering in the hundreds.  Social distancing and other measures at these events is very difficult, if not impossible, to practice and enforce.  Therefore, you agree that you will not purchase an event admission pass if you know you have symptoms of COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or illness, or you have a high risk of contracting or suffering from one, and you certify that you do not have any reason to believe that you have been exposed to or could be a carrier of any disease or illness.  If you do attend, you agree that you will take all possible steps to protect your health and the health of others attending the event.  You further agree that, by using an admission pass and attending, you thereby waive any claim of liability you might make against Creation Entertainment, Inc. or its officers, directors, employees and agents as a result of your contracting disease or illness from attending one of our events, and you agree that you will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Creation Entertainment, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees and agents against any loss that any of them may suffer or be obligated to pay as a result of any claim that may be made against any of them by others, as a result of your attending the event, including, but not limited to, legal damages, attorney's fees and court costs.  If you are unsure of your status, please consult with your doctor before purchasing an event admission pass. You further agree that should Creation Events in its sole opinion believe that you may pose a threat to the health of others, it may deny you admission or request that you leave the event and that you understand and accept all risks that your attendance may encounter.

This convention is intended for adults. On stage appearances by our guests may include off-color or inappropriate humor and profanity. Children are welcome if accompanied by an adult who is aware of the potential content. The views and opinions expressed by any talent or participant at, or during the convention are those of the authors and/or the persons appearing on stage, and do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of Creation Entertainment, LLC or any of their affiliated parties.

Harassment at events: Creation does not tolerate any forms of harassment or bullying at its events. The company’s complete policy is stated on each schedule of events that is handed out at each convention. If you witness bad behavior at an event, immediately notify the contact listed on the rules page of your printed schedule and there is Creation staff present at all times. We cannot do anything about complaints that come after the event is over.

For those attending our conventions and making travel plans: Please know that many of the headliners who appear onstage on Sunday usually do so towards the later part of the day. Autograph signings can run into the evening until 9:00PM-10:00PM. For those traveling from out of town, we suggest staying over until Monday in order to get your autographs and the full convention experience. Creation is not responsible for any costs associated with travel for any attendee. We highly suggest you purchase travel insurance in the event that anything should happen.  

We are not responsible for orders that are rejected during processing: On rare occasion, an error may occur during the ordering process that can require the order to be resubmitted. This can include: Incomplete form submission (usually caused by not completing the entire ordering process to the very end); Credit card failures (usually caused when there are not enough funds in an account or the credit card company rejects the charge for any number of reasons including out of state, international or unfamiliar ordering to the customers’ general pattern); or system errors during transmission of the order. 

We suggest buying admission passes and a la carte tickets only through this website: Because all PDFs are scanned for use at the convention, we can ONLY allow the first person in using each singular PDF. Autograph and photo op PDFs are also scanned for one-time use. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! Tickets that are not valid or deemed fraudulent will not be accepted.

Alcoholic beverages at the convention: At most of our events, we do not allow alcohol to be present in our function rooms, including the main theatre. This includes daily panel events, meet & greets and any night events. Water stations will be available in the room. We reserve the right to perform bag checks at any time. We reserve the right to deny entrance into any of the events to anyone who appears intoxicated. If there is an instance of alcoholic beverages sold, your ID will be checked by the bartender and any underage customers will not be served any alcoholic beverages. Creation is not responsible for the alcohol consumption of others.

Weapons policy: Please do not bring any weapons to the show. If you are using a prop weapon for a photo op or as part of the cosplay contest, please bring it to registration to get tagged. After your photo op or cosplay contest is over, please do not have your prop weapon on the convention floor at any time. Prop weapons without tags will not be allowed at any time.

Lost or misplaced items: We are not responsible for lost or misplaced items. We cannot replace a la carte Autograph or Photo Op tickets that are purchased at the convention, so PLEASE make sure your PDFs and hard tickets are kept in a safe place. 

ADA Rules on service animals: This event welcomes service animals as per ADA rules. Service animals perform valuable work or tasks and are trained to provide help directly related to a person's disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA and therefore are not permitted at our event. 

Photo taking policy at this convention: We know that taking photos makes the convention even more fun. In the main theatre, photo taking is encouraged but only from your seat. It is unfair to run up to the stage and block the view of others who have paid for reserved seats in front of you. Even if there are empty seats, patrons must sit in the seats they paid for to be fair to everyone. Due to Fire Marshall regulations, everyone must be seated during performances. Please also be courteous to your neighbors when taking pictures. Photo taking is not allowed during autographing sessions nor during photo ops.

Audio or video capture for personal use is allowed except in certain circumstances: Photography and audio or video capture are for personal use only - public dissemination and commercial use strictly prohibited. If there is a time where we cannot allow audio or video capturing of the Q&As, we will advise in advance. AUDIO/VIDEO CAPTURING IS NOT ALLOWED DURING AUTOGRAPHS, PHOTO OPS AND SOME MEET & GREETS. LIVE STREAMING IS NOT ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. 

Raffles/Fundraising: Unsanctioned raffles and fundraisers are not allowed at Creation events.

Flashes from phone and cameras occur often during stage presentations: If you are sensitive to such lighting please be advised to take the necessary precautions. For our attendees, please keep flash photography to a minimum.

By attending Creation events, you agree to allow your image to be used on our website and in news documentaries or stories, either filmed by Creation Entertainment or other entities. 

Please do not bring latex balloons of any sort to any of our events: We have had attendees with latex allergies and bursting balloons can be hazardous to people at short range. 

Medical emergencies:  If you have a medical emergency and you do not have a caretaker with you, hotel security or 911 will be called to assist you.

If you have an issue over the weekend pertaining to a show that is happening that same weekend, please go in-person to the convention registration desk for assistance. Requests sent to Customer Service over the weekend may not be received until the Monday after the convention is over.
